Fabrication and Season

The collection is a spring summer collection. The main fabric I’m using is denim, different shades of denims. It also gives this American free spirit and street casual elements to this collection.

It is also the fabric that never gets out of trend and garments

that made of denim is one of the most profitable and salable items in the industry.

Trend forecast 2017 Spring

The fabric I got is a 100% cotton thickening twill weave denim produced in Japan. It has three shades from pale to navy. It has already been washed so it is not very hard.

Another key fabric I’m using is the mesh fabric with three-dimentional line on it. It is like a sporty version of lace.

Mesh fabric was seen on the street and runway in recent year.

It gives garment structure and it adds a bit sexiness and sport vibe.

The color I'm using is the navy shade, so it match up the denim better.

I’m also using a printed and pleated fabric as my wide sleeve and a skirt.

The accordion pleats fabric is widely seen in evening wear and also every-day wear. What is more interesting about this fabric is that when it opens up, it show this Japanese style print.
