The whole top was finished by French seam and the bias binding. The 3D mesh actually works very well when I place them in different direction. It creates a very interesting and texture surface.

I also make the collar smaller for the actual garment, it makes it more elegant. However, I think the hollow out part is a bit too small compare to the illustration. It barely can be seen from the front.

I’m really happy with the skirt. The pleats are very interesting and unique. Some of it is on bias so that it drapes very well. But I do want to change the skirt to high waist because the proportion is not very flattering and it show too much skin if the person is too tall. However when the person was short and slim, the proportion looks much better.

I’m also very satisfied with the buttons and rib knit. It works exactly what I expect. Especially for the rib knit, I was worried about it won’t lay flat and it might be too thick.
