Major project research-Interview with girls that did plastic surgery before.

According to “New Oxygen 2017 Medical Beauty Industry”, they anticipate that there will be 14000000 people became beautiful through medical beauty which has risen by 42% compare to 2016.

I Interview with two girls who did plastic surgery before.

My first interviewee is a friend of my mother, Miss Pan, she is 27 years-old and she works for a training institution operation. The whole conversation was in Chinese and I translate it in English myself.

“Self-abasement, but you can’t always be self-abased. Plastic surgery is just one way. I’m a really inferior person and I’m really scared of people say no to me. I’m afraid to communicate with others. I work at a company more than half year but I’m only familiar with two or three colleague. It’s really hard to say that how mediocre affect self-abasement, but, later on my friend encourage me to go and do plastic surgery. I did a nose job and cut a double eye lid, I became more beautiful, but I also heard talks around me say that I am hypocritical. Of course I’m very angry but I have no courage to refute or how, until I had a long talk with my father.

To my surprise, he did not criticize me for hiding my plastic surgery practice from him. ‘People like pretty girls but I can’t tell you to focus on your outer appearance at a young age. Repair the external is to balance the inner; the outer beauty is not to conceal the inner meanness.’”

My second interviewee if my classmate, Lee Ji Hyun. She is 21 years old and she is from Korea.

“I’m from Korea, in my country, pretty girl is everywhere. I don’t think that my face is not ok…but I always feel that somehow there are still some gaps. I choose to do the plastic surgery later. I was really happy to see myself in the mirror now after the recovering time. I’m more use to live the life with mini-plastic surgery now and I want to do some change to the part that I’m not happy with…like my cheekbones…I have to admit that good appearance five me some bonus point socially la. The world is like that... You know. But I want to emphasize on one thing, you may go plastic surgery because of other’s comment or ambient pressure. But, after surgery your happiness belongs to yourself. Well…my beauty is for others to see, but more is for me, myself to see.”
