Toile 5

For the look5, I started with the skirt. The skirt is a classic pegged shape skirt and to make it more interesting, I want to add a TR cutting details at front.For the shirt, I’m planning to do a double shirt out of silk satin organza.

After I finished the toile, I decide to add a wide band (20cm fold) that can tie around at the waist, making it more dramatic. The back dart at shoulder is too small so I decide to open more volume at bottom. The sleeve‘s bottom was drape to form a curve shape. The whole idea was the variation of my look 2’s sleeve. For the toile's shirt, I'm using the same fabric as the actual garment and it works so much better than silk organza. It's more structure and hold a better shape.
